Aisha Sarwari and Shaista Aziz are the founders of WAH.
Between them, the freelance journalists and communications and advocacy specialists have more than twenty years experience of working and delivering high profile media campaigns and working on women’s rights in Pakistan and in the global context.
Aisha Sarwari has a 12-year experience ranging from the private to government sectors in the US and Pakistan. Out of these years, about 5 have been in the development sector in Pakistan focusing on grassroots empowerment.
Shaista Aziz is a British Pakistani freelance journalist and writer. She's travelled and worked extensively across the Middle East and West Africa. Shaista has more than fifteen years experience of working across Pakistan including Balochistan, FATA Kashmir, Swat and Sindh.
